Welcome to Our Savior's
Our Savior’s Church is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. The church originated January 17, 1937 in Bundy’s local Jeffries schoolhouse. At that time, approximately 55 people attended and 11 requested instruction.
Construction of the church building began in the spring of 1938 with the first worship service in the log church being held on Christmas Day 1939. In May of 1940, “The Little Log Church” was dedicated, having a 40’ x 24’, 100 seat Sanctuary. In 1950, church members and a team of horses worked to dig the basement for the church. The bell tower of the church was built in 1952 and a bell from Charles City, Iowa was installed.
Our Savior’s Church has a long history in the area and hopes to continue to bring Gods word to the people of the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
